Say hello to the super hero staple that is kicking butts and taking names, giving life to almost every girls wardrobe this spring- The ‘POP’lin Blouse!

What is a Poplin Blouse you may ask?, it is a ‘lightweight, cool weave with a smooth and silky finish’ as per google definition lol, in other words it’s a cool and breathable fabric perfect for a lovely sunny day or warm evening out.

I chose a poplin blouse with a blue pinstripe design and a stunning rose embroidery detail, which is of course very much on trend right now, giving the shirt a great feminine touch. I decided to go with a lighter colour as well for it’s cool and breathable look and feel.

To get a more structured look to the outfit I had decided to pair them with a beautiful pair of statement jeans instead of a skirt. There are of-course a whole lot of different and crazy designs in stores right now to choose from, ranging from bedazzled to sequined styled jeans, but I went with a more subtle version of the trend.

The great thing about this shirt is that accessories are not necessary, the shirt itself draws enough attention already with its rouged sleeves. Another plus is the wrap detail which, I might add, is a women’s best kept secret with it’s ability to create curves.
